image of Farmer and child with a lamb The best way of finding out about organic farming is by visiting beautiful organic farms and being inspired by the farmers who tend their land, crops and livestock. The Soil Association is therefore promoting a network of farms that welcome the public and schools, the organic farms network. Every farm has something special to show you, from bluebell woods to bee-keeping, dairy cows to hedge-laying.

Why not seek out farms in your area for a day trip, or go visit a farm shop. Many organise special open days and events. Also, look out for those with accommodation so that you can plan your holidays on a working organic farm.
