Registration

When you register, whyorganic.org (WO) collects personal information in the form of your first name, surname and email address. WO respects the privacy concerns of users of this website. Complies with all applicable UK data protection legislation currently in force in relation to its treatment of personal information.

whyorganic.org is not directed to users under the age of 13. No information collected through the site from users self-identified as children will knowingly be used for any marketing or promotional purposes whatsoever, either inside or outside WO.

WO has security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Despite these we cannot guarantee that a hacker will not obtain access to your data or communications between you and the site.

Email Policy

An email sent by WO will include an option to unsubscribe from receiving any further emails from WO. If you no longer wish to receive emails from WO then follow the procedure described to be unsubscribed from further emails.

Third Parties

WO may use personal information collected about you to contact you in relation to a promotion (for example to let you know you have won a prize). WO will not sell, trade or rent your personal information to third parties. WO may need to disclose personal information collected about you to third parties, but only where this is necessary for delivery or provision of goods or services, which you have selected to benefit from. The third parties will delete your personal data after they have provided the goods or services unless you choose to subscribe in some form to their service where you we be separately governed by their privacy policy. WO also contains links to other sites that are not under our control and cannot be held responsible for the privacy policies of other companies. The offers presented to Food Club members and those registered with whyorganic.org are entirely at the retailers', property owners' and manufacturers' discretion and are subject to availability.
